Ira began playing guitar at 13 years old. In the Summer of 1967, he played in a Teenage band in Woodbourne New York and performed poolside at numerous Hotels in the Borsht Belt area. In 1975, he began a long rewarding career in Law Enforcement where he served in The Baltimore PD, NYC Dept Of Correction Rikers Island, The NYPD, and Cape Coral PD. He retired in 2011 and moved to The Villages. He began playing guitar with friends in The Beatle Maniacs, The Advanced Acoustic Guitar Club, and The Back Row Band. In 2014, a group of friends living in The Villages formed The NO REGRETS BAND and have been playing in and around The Villages ever since.
